  • Spirit Team & Yell Leader Event

    Spirit Team & Yell Leaders event scheduled for tonight, Wednesday, January 17th has been cancelled due to district conflicts. (basketball game was cancelled) Ms. McNeil and I will reschedule group to cheer at a game possibly next week; currently awaiting update on possible location changes for upcoming basketball games. We will send home a notice of next scheduled event with the group soon, as well as posting on the website. We will be holding a short practice during EPIC on Friday; I will sign student agenda's today and Thursday during lunch. Students will need to show their agenda in order to attend the EPIC practice session.

  • Sixth Grade Spirit Team & Yell Leaders

    If your son or daughter is interested in joining our PCMS Sixth Grade Spirit Team or Yell Leader Squad, please have them pick up a sign-up sheet to order their shirt & bow / shirt & towel during lunch. Friday is the last day to sign up. Please reach out to either myself or Ms. McNeil if you have questions. 

    Our purpose is to promote school spirit and support selected athletic / school events throughout the year.

  • Sixth Grade Spirit!

    Congratulations to the Class of 2024 aka Sixth Grade for winning the first PCMS Spirit Stick of the year.  We need to work on our Victory Chant, but it will come with practice. Proud of my Pumas!

  • Upcoming Dates To Know

    Happy Wednesday,

    Can you believe that we are finishing up our seventh week of sixth grade already. Most importantly, this grading period is a short one, so please make sure you & your son/daughter are keeping up with grade averages and chekcing Focus on a regular basis. Teachers are busy pulling kids in for extra support during morning tutorials, EPIC and holding after school sessions. An updated tutorial schedule is available for you as a link on this site; please encourage your child to attend when needed to get help with their course studies. The END of our current grading period is NEXT Thursday, October 19th.

    Young Ladies wishing to join the Sixth Grade Spirit Team can pick up information on Friday during our lunch.

  • Sixth Grade Tutorial Schedule Posted

    Please see Sixth Grade Tutorial Link for sessions offered throughout the week to help support your son or daughter with core subjects. I will be updating with elective course sessions soon. 

    AM Sessions begin @ 7:40 unless other arrangements have been made with the teacher and a personal PUMA pass is provided to enter the building early.

    Lunch Sessions are held from 12:23-12:53; students who bring a sack lunch need to report directly to the tutoral session, others needing to purchase a school lunch need to go to cafeteria, purchase lunch and then go to session.

    PM Sessions - students report directly to session following 3:35 bell; session concludes at 4:25

    Doors Open: 8:00 a.m.

    Camp Fun starts @ 8:30

    Lunch 11:00-11:30 (pizza, drink, cookie)

    Wednesday, August 9th: New Student Registration 8-5

    Thursday, August 10th: New Student Registration 1-7

    Tuesday, August 15th: Sixth Grade Camp $12; registration available now (8:30-11:30; doors open at 8:00)

    Monday, August 28th: 1st Day of School

    Monday, September 4th: School Holiday

    Tuesday, September 5th: Open House 6-8

    Thursday, September 21st: School Picture Day

    Monday, October 9th: Student Holiday

    Wednesday, October 25th: Early Release (no after school tutorials as teachers will be attending training sessions)

  • Sixth Grade Camp

    Date: Tuesday, August 15th

    Time: 8:30-11:30 (sign-in starts @ 8:00 a.m.)

    Cost: $12 (pizza lunch & Puma drawstring backpack)

    Registration forms available online & in the PCMS front office. Plan to attend to learn all about our Park Crest Campus, meet some of your 6th grade teachers, make new friends & be better prepared for the first day of school. Looking forward to meeting everyone in a few weeks, until then, enjoy your summer break, keep reading & get ready for a great school year.
