AP Scholars

Pflugerville ISD’s high schools each recognized scholar students Friday morning at annual campus AP Scholar Appreciation Breakfasts.

The Advanced Placement Scholar program, hosted by the College Board organization, offers a number of different AP Scholar Awards to recognize high school students for demonstrating college-level achievement through the passing of AP exams each year. PfISD is proud to recognize the accomplishments of these students.

A total of 611 PfISD students received AP Scholar Awards for their performance on AP exams during the 2018-19 academic year.

PfISD had students recognized in eight categories awarded by AP: AP Scholar, AP Scholar with Honor, AP Scholar with Distinction, AP Capstone Diploma, AP Research and Seminar Certificate, AP International Diploma, National AP Scholar and State AP Scholar.

The AP Scholar Awards are academic distinctions for students to cite among their credentials on applications and résumés. Students do not receive any monetary award from College Board.
