- Academic Award Ceremony – Reminder: May 16 at 6 p.m. in the Performance Arts Center
- Final Exam Exemption – There has been a clarification of the sign and go practice that we used before and it did not meet the requirements for counting students present in class. Students will not be able to sign and go, and they must remain in class even if they are exempt. The change is due to the clarification of state attendance rules.
- Student/Staff Holiday on Monday, May 28
- Mandatory Graduation Practice will be on Tuesday, June 5 and Wednesday, June 6 in the Large Gym from 2-4 p.m.
- Senior Walk – June 4, 2018 11:30-1:45 (feeder elementary schools and middle schools) Seniors must wear their cap and gown.
- Project Graduation 2018 – June 9, 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Registration and T-shirts will be $10 during all lunches only on Fridays until school is out! Prices will go up so get your registration in early!
- Spring Final Exam Schedule (please see attached)
- Cap and Gown distribution: Caps and gowns were distributed today (5/15/18) to students who do not have obligations. Students who have obligations may come to the office to see Cindy Riola/Tamara Berding to pay their debts/turn in the items they still have. Students who need to order a cap/gown may order online through May 20. All orders after will take place at the Herff Jones office or on graduation day. To purchase online:www.ctrecognition.com Reminder: Students are not allowed to decorate their caps and gowns for the ceremony. Any decorated cap or gown will not be permitted to participate in the ceremony or they will have to purchase another cap or gown the day of the graduation.
- Frank Erwin Center Clear Bag Policy—only one gallon clear bags and small clutch bags (no bigger than 4.5 inches x 6.5 inches) will be permitted at the graduation (please see attached flyer for more details)
- CHS Graduation Ceremony will be held at the Frank Erwin Center on Saturday, June 9 at 10 a.m – all students participating in the graduation ceremony will need to arrive at the CHS gym by 7:30 a.m. Senior Contracts (containing necessary information) were distributed to students May 7 through May 9 and may be picked up in the main office – see Cindy Riola.
