Westview Selected to Create Ornament for Capitol Tree

Dear Wildcat Nation Great Things Are Happening at WMS these Holidays!

Annually, the Texas House of Representatives decorates the halls inside of the Capital with a beautiful Christmas tree. Each state representative gets to select a school or an organization to decorate an ornament that will be displayed on the tree. We are honored, that our State Representative, Celia Israel has selected Westview Middle School to create an ornament this year.  This ornament will be on display in the very halls where substantial state decisions are made. It is an honor to have our students decorate the ornament and have it displayed in the tree. We are extremely happy to have been selected out of the many schools in the legislative area.

We are elated to have this honor, in addition to a few of our outstanding Art students receiving an invitation to meet with the state legislator in her office and get a personalized tour around the capitol. We thank Ms. Israel for valuing the hard work of our students, as they pursue higher education, and for acknowledging the dedication of our staff.

 GO WILDCATS!!! and Happy Holidays!
