Vision Plan
Vision coverage is offered by VSP Vision Care as a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan. Provider Network: VSP Advantage. As with a traditional PPO, you may take advantage of the highest level of benefit by receiving services from in-network vision providers and doctors. You will only be responsible for copayment at the time of your service. However, if you receive services from an out-of-network doctor, you will pay all expenses at the time of service and submit a claim for reimbursement up to the allowed amount.

Just tell your network provider that you have VSP and they will be able to look up your benefits by providing your social security number.Does VSP cover Essential Medical Care?Yes, retinal screenings for members with diabetes are fully covered. Exams and services to treat immediate issues like pink eye and sudden changes in vision. Treatment options to monitor ongoing health conditions such as dry eye, diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, and more.When your VSP network doctor participates in your medical insurance plan's network, your medical insurance will be billed. You may be able to coordinate with your VSP benefits to help reduce out-of-pocket costs. If your VSP doctor doesn't participate in your medical insurance plan, VSP has you covered with only the cost of your copay.
