Technology Integrated CurriculumFifth Grade
Language Arts Math Science Social Studies Google Apps, Tumblebooks, World Book Online, Nettrekker and fluency with the document camera.Students will provide an example for concrete, pictorial, and abstract representations of each teacher selected problem(s).Significant Individuals: Students will use NetTrekker and Google Apps to create and collaborate on a document about Bradford, Penn, Wise, Hutchinson, Smith and Williams.Model think alouds, Kahoot for assessment, Blogger for collaborative writing, plot maps for character development focus.Students will create and collaborate using GAFE to model problem strategies.Students will use the MS Excel to model and represent decimals.Use Google Slides to record the results and understandings found during and after a scientific investigation.Teacher will need to verify the lesson completion on or after Oct. 2, 2017 and before Nov. 10, 2017.Create and Collaborate in Daily 5 Digital Literacy Centers: Develop fluency with Educreations, Mind Maps to explore words, Google Slides and Docs for creating original poetry and publishing.Create a web and a brochure that explains one of the energy resources.Students will use NetTrekker to research Shay's Rebellion and use Google Apps to write a letter from the point of view of a farmer protesting the situation.Create and Collaborate in Daily 5 Digital Literacy Centers: Celebrate Computer Science Education Week! Students will use beginning programming (code.org) to connect basic computer science concepts to algorithms and procedural text as well as the writing process: brainstorming, pre-writing, drafting, revising and editing, and publishing.Students will produce models of multiplication and division of fractions using the table feature and background color tool found in GAFE Slides.Food Web Simulation:Predict, explain and compare results of the simulation.Students will use Google Apps, NetTrekker, and the document camera to write, perform, and record a Reader's Theater about the Bill of Rights.Create and Collaborate in Daily 5 Digital Literacy Centers: Students use QR Codes, Infographics, Mind Maps, Procedural text and GAFE to build communication,collaboration, critical-thinking and creativity skills.Students create, edit, and format scatter plot charts in GAFE Sheets.Students will locate and view animation and simulation internet resources from Nettrekker Search for line plot and line plots and use the provided GAFE Slides template to use student collected data to create tables, line plots and questions for peer collaboration.Making Solutions: Conduct an investigation to see how solutions can form and record the results with the Document Camera.Students use Google Apps Drawing to create a timeline sequencing the events to show the progression of the War of 1812.Students will collaborate on the writing process using Google Docs to focus on writing effective introductory and concluding paragraphs, word choice, sentence structure and good organization.Personal Financial Literacy Hyperdoc (5.10A,B,C,D,E,F)
Students complete a Google Survey, insert images into Google applications, and complete a graphic organizer to reinforce the Structure and Function Tier 1 activity.

Students will document through Google Slides / Forms their understanding and learning of 2 dimensional figures, their attributes and their properties.
