Technology Integrated CurriculumFirst Grade
Language Arts Math Science Social Studies Students will use MS Word for login practice and use online resources to support reading.Technology will be integrated in Daily 5 Activities to support reading, writing, oral and digital literacy skills.Students will use digital tools to collect, organize and represent data using tally charts, bar graphs, and pictographs.
Students will use Maps 101 to create a Small Neighborhood Map.Create and Collaborate in Daily 5 Digital Literacy Centers:
Students will complete the Learning.com lesson for Select, Drag, and Double-click and Numbers. Technology will be integrated in Daily 5 Activities to support reading, writing, oral and digital literacy skills.Students will use digital tools to use place value in order to represent numbers in multiple formats, including: standard form, base 10 model, and expanded form.
Students create an acrostic poem using the Read, Write, Think Interactive using a vocabulary word discovered during their investigation.
Teacher will need to verify the lesson completion on or after Oct. 2, 2017 and before Nov. 10, 2017.
Students will use a graphics program, Learning.com lessons and online resources to to build reading, writing, oral, and digital literacy skills in Daily 5 centers.Nonfiction Book Review- My Community
Pictorial representations: Students will create pictorial representations of subtraction and addition problems.Students create a sun's energy theme poem using the Read, Write, Think Interactive.Students will write, edit and publish a page for a class book.
Students will participate in an Hour of Code to correlate with sequencing and problem-solving. Technology will be integrated in Daily 5 Activities to support reading, writing, oral and digital literacy skills.Changes in Nature: Students use a table and images to digitally track the types of weather observed over a prescribed period of time.Students will write, edit and publish a digital story including an inserted image.
Students will publish an original piece of fiction. Students will use a camera (document camera or mobile device) to record a dramatic retelling of the story in sequential order. Technology will be integrated in Daily 5 activities to support reading, writing, oral and digital literacy skills.Students will use Google Slides to identify and label the attributes of 2D and 3D shapes and solids.
Students observe particles that make up soil using a picture taken with a document camera. Students label the different soil particles they see on a GAFE Drawing.Students will use an online interactive simulation to sort living and nonliving objects and label the items to show their evidence.
1.7C Using Rocks, Soil, and Water to Make ProductsStudents will use MS Word to write statements of how they intend to promote equality.
Students will use digital tools (mobile device app or website) to sketch the sensory details in a selected piece of poetry. Students will recite and record the poem, emphasizing emotion, rhythm and rhyme. Technology will be integrated in Daily 5 Activities to support reading, writing, oral and digital literacy skills.Students will use digital tools to research, describe and categorize the ways in which an animal uses its body parts to move, eat, and live.
Comparing Parts of Plants:Students will use digital tools to view, describe and categorize the structures of plant parts.

Technology will be integrated in Daily 5 Activities to support reading, writing, oral and digital literacy skills.Students will use Google Slides to measure the length of various objects using multiple units of measurement.
Students will use an online simulation to create Food Chains. Students will then produce a Google Doc to create 3 complete food chains.1.9B/C Using Living Things to Meet Needs

Students will be safe, smart, and responsible digital citizens as they research and createmulti-media presentations.
