Cele Middle School

       Mrs.Winkelman has been a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) since 1998. She is our district School Social Worker, serving Cele Middle School. Mrs. Winkelman also provides crisis intervention services for several of our Elementary School campuses on as needed basis. She has a strong clinical background as well as possesses a wide range of professional counseling skills specifically in working with middle school students.   

On our campus, Mrs. Winkelman collaborates daily with our school counselors. Together they work along side our assistant principals, LSSP and school nurse as a counseling team to identify and address the social, emotional and mental health needs of our students that are hindering their academic performance.

As the campus social worker, Mrs. Winkelman provides both individual and group counseling; resource referrals and crisis intervention. She often serves as a link between our campus, students’ and their families.
