    Brookhollow Families,

April is the beginning of our last push of the school year. Students engage in real-world concepts utilizing our outdoor learning structures — the BES Garden. This is the time when our students really double down to successfully complete the expected learning for the year. Please continue to encourage your student to practice good work habits and attend school every day.

We hosted a successful Boosterdance this past week. Our Dance Through the Decade was a hit with all students. It was great to see some of our 4-, 5- & 6-year-old students dance and enjoy the festivities for the first time. I want to thank all the parents, students, Hendrickson High School Ready, Set, Teach students, teachers, and PTO for volunteering and supporting the Boosterdance on April 1. Donations were given from snacks in the hydration room and decorations to set the ambiance of the decade theme for all to enjoy! Classroom teachers sent pictures of the festivities, and more will be placed in our 21-22 BES yearbook!

    Greetings Parents and Guardians,

Well, February came in like a lion and left like a lion. March has come in like a lamb – much better for my weary old bones. I have really enjoyed these 70 degree days.

Third-quarter is almost done and we are nearing the end of another successful school year. I am so thankful to be saying that considering all that our students, families, staff, and communities have overcome this year. A year ago we were closing doors and now we are preparing safely to open doors back up. Thank you for your unprecedented support over these past few months!

We are preparing for our Booster "Boogie" fundraiser much like the "run" but with a few fitness dance moves. March 22 will be the kickoff during our 3rd nine-week POPS Rally. More information to come soon.

    Dear Bobcats,

The holidays give us an opportunity to pause our busy lives and reflect on our proud accomplishments. The season offers us a chance to say “thank you” to the entire school community for all of the support that you provide to our students, our families, and our staff.

Our Brookhollow community has worked selflessly to make a positive difference for families in need, and I would be remiss if I did not commend our students and staff for the joy they have brought to those who need the most help. From the Bobcat Can Food drive hosted by our 5th-grade friends, as well as other wonderful programs, the impact that you have made in the lives of so many during this Fall has been truly touching. I am so very grateful to each and every one of you!

We finish up the fall season with many special events that took place because of you ... Fun Night, BES Annual Pumpkin Contest, Science Night, Family Literacy Nigth, Brookhollow 13th Annual Cake Contest, and more! We look forward to what the New Year will bring!
