The drawing to determine the order in which the names of candidates are to be printed on the ballot will be held at 3:30 pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at the PfISD Administration Bldg., 1401 W.Pecan St., Pflugerville, TX.

Notice of Drawing for Ballot Placement

Pflugerville ISD will hold a Regular Election for Board of Trustees, Places 6 and 7 and a Special Election for Board of Trustee, Place 5 on May 6, 2023.

The window to file for a place on the ballot is Wednesday, January 18, 2023 through Friday, February 17, 2023. 

Interested candidates may file for a place on the ballot by submitting a completed and notarized Candidate Application; delivered in person, mailed through the US Postal Service, emailed or faxed.  All applications must be received by the filing deadline, 5:00 p.m. on February 17, 2023.

Ballot Drawing - If needed, a date and time will be set and communicated to all candidates as well as posted on the PfISD website

Candidate Eligibility for Public Office (141.001, TEC)

• US Citizen
• 18 years of age or older
• Resided continuously in the state for 12 months prior to the filing deadline
• Resided continuously in the school district for 6 months prior to the filing deadline
• Must be a registered voter in the territory elected from prior to the filing deadline
• No final felony conviction
• No final judgement indicating: Totally mentally incapacitated or Partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote

• January 1, 2023      First day to apply for a ballot by mail using Application for a Ballot by Mail (ABBM) or Federal Post Card Application (FPCA)
• January 18, 2023    First day to File for a Place on the Ballot.
