Out of school (OOS) and out of district (OOD) students may pre-register for STAAR administrations in PfISD by contacting the
state's testing contractor. OOS & OOD students are typically students who temporarily reside in PfISD, students who did not receive a diploma because they have not passed all required tests, and students in other similar situations. Pre-registering with the state's testing contractor ensures that test materials will be available and results are properly reported.
Registration usually closes 3-4 weeks prior to each scheduled test administration. If not pre-registered, please submit a request using the link below. If space and materials are available, we will make an effort to include you if you missed the deadline to register with the state's testing contractor.
Upon arrival at the campus on the morning of your test, you will be required to present a photo ID or some other form of identification that can be verified. Cell phones and all other electronic devices are not allowed in test sites and should not be in your possession while you are testing on a PfISD campus.
