In compliance with HB 1525, SB 9, and TEC 28.004:

Guardians may opt out of instruction for specialized topics such as child abuse, family violence, dating violence, sex trafficking, and human sexuality.

Teachers will communicate dates of instruction at least 2 weeks before instruction begins.

- Students who do not participate in instruction will not receive disciplinary or academic penalties.
- Guardians may view topics and materials that are used for instruction.
