In compliance with HB1525, SB9, SB 12, and TEC 28.004:

Guardians must provide consent for their student to receive instruction for specialized topics such as child abuse, family violence, dating violence, sex trafficking, and human sexuality.

Teachers will communicate dates of instruction at least 2 weeks before instruction begins.

- Students who do not participate in instruction will not receive disciplinary or academic penalties.
- Guardians may view topics and materials that are used for instruction.
