Board of Trustees Election-November 2026
Seats for Place 6 and Place 7 will be on the November 3, 2026 ballot. The seven Board of Trustees members are elected by all district residents and represent all district residents.
Candidate Filing begins Saturday, July 18, 2026 and ends at 5:00 PM on Monday, August 17, 2026. PfISD office are closed on the weekends so applications can be submitted in person starting Monday, July 20, 2026, at 8:00 AM. The last day to file a Declaration of Write-In Candidacy is Monday, August 17, 2026 at 5:00 PM.
Notice of Deadline to File An Application for Place on the Ballot Cities, School Districts and Other Political Subdivisions
Interested candidates may file for a place on the ballot by submitting a completed and notarized Candidate Application; delivered in person, mailed through the US Postal Service or emailed.
- In-person: Applications may be submitted in person between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the PfISD Administration Building located at 1401 W. Pecan St., Pflugerville, TX 78660, on days the building is open. Note: Hours of operation vary during the summer months. Please call 512-594-0000 to verify summer hours.
- By mail: PfISD Administration Bldg., Attn: Jacob Woolston, 1401 W. Pecan St., Pflugerville, TX 78660. Note: The Texas Secretary of State’s Office requires the filing authority to be in possession of the application before the deadline. Applications postmarked before the deadline but not received by the deadline cannot be filed.

Eligibility and Filing for Candidacy
To be eligible to be a candidate for, or elected or appointed to, the office of a school board member, a person must:
- Be a United States citizen.
- Be 18 years of age or older on the first day of the term to be filled at the election or on the date of appointment, as applicable.
- Have not been determined by a final judgment of a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be totally mentally incapacitated or partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote.
- Have not been finally convicted of a felony from which the person has not been pardoned or otherwise released from the resulting disabilities.
- Have resided continuously in the state for 12 months and in the territory from which the office is elected for six months immediately preceding the filing date.

After canvassing each election, the Board elects a president, vice president, and secretary to serve a one-year term. The Pflugerville ISD Board of Trustees consists of seven members. Board members shall be elected for three–year terms, with elections conducted annually. Board members are elected at large for specific places on the Board.
