Whole Life with Long Term Care Benefit
Employees have the opportunity to apply for life insurance coverage through Trustmark for themselves and their families. This coverage is provided through personally owned, permanent individual life insurance policies. Once issued, coverage continues regardless of employment status, as long as premiums are paid. After employment ends, individuals can directly pay premiums to Trustmark to maintain coverage.
Employees can apply for individual policies on their own lives or their spouses', with additional options like the Child Term Life Rider and Grandchild Universal Life Plan.
The plan also includes a Long Term Care (LTC) benefit, providing coverage for home health care, assisted living, or nursing home care during the insured individual's lifetime.
Employees aged 18 - 64 may apply for Universal Life and Long Term Care. Employees over the age of 65 are not eligible for Long Term Care benefits.
