    Rocket Families,

We had a fantastic week back after the Thanksgiving break!

Our staff and students are working incredibly hard to finish the second nine-weeks strong. This is a good time to review assignments and grades with your students to ensure all missing work is complete before the Winter break.

Don't forget if you are planning to change your child's learning preference for the third nine-weeks, the deadline is this Wednesday, December 9th. Check out this week's Rowe Lane updates below!

    Rocket Families,

It's hard to believe we only have three more weeks left of the second nine-weeks. Planning for the third nine weeks will begin in early December. Parents/guardians will have the opportunity to change their child's method of instruction for the third nine-weeks in December. Families will receive a link to a Google form on December 1st in order to capture these changes. The deadline to make changes to your child's learning preference is Wednesday, December 9th.

    Rocket Families,

Our Rowe Lane staff, on-campus learners, and virtual learners brought sunshine to our Rocket Community by participating in Red Ribbon Week dress-up days! We saw many creative ways our Rockets support being Bully-Free & Drug-Free. Thank you again to Ms. Payne, our PTO Red Ribbon Week Committee, and HHS PALS for making this year's Red Ribbon Week another success! Also, we are so grateful for the generous donations for our food drive!

Parents & guardians, with holidays around the corner, please remember distributing edible and tangible treats/treat bags is not permissible on campus per health & safety guidelines.

The RLES Virtual Fall Book Fair begins November 9th and our regular PTO meeting has been rescheduled for November 10th. Check out other events planned for Rowe Lane in November below in this week's Rocket Family News!

    Rocket Families,

The month of October is such a busy month, however, we're taking the time at Rowe Lane to recognize individuals who demonstrate resiliency and courage when faced with challenges. We recognize individuals who have been affected by Breast Cancer, individuals with Dyslexia, and individuals with Down Syndrome through Breast Cancer Awareness, Dyslexia Awareness, and Down Syndrome Awareness month!

Our Rocket Community will also support our students in being Bully & Drug-Free through Red Ribbon Week, October 26th-30th. We've planned themed dress-up days for our students and a campus food drive to support the Circle of Hope food pantry in Pflugerville. More information about this month's events can be found in this week’s Rocket Family News!

We look forward to supporting their continued growth in the second nine-weeks by incorporating guided reading groups and math groups into our instructional schedules. Rocket students will be experiencing some changes on Tuesday, October 13th.

Please read the information below so that our families are informed and our students feel confident as they navigate a new learning environment or new homeroom class.
