    State Assessment Results

Parents will be notified when results for state assessments are available through the online Texas Assessment Portal (https://www.texasassessment.com/staar/families/).  To access results, you will need the Unique Access Code for your child that you can find in one of the following ways:

    • on the bottom of any STAAR or TELPAS Student Report Card (SRC) or Confidential Student Report (CSR) (from any school year)
    • use the "Find My Access Code" link at the Texas Assessment Portal.  Enter the student's first name, SSN or S-number and date of birth and click "GO."

Retain this Unique Access Code for future use.  The same code will be used to access future results.

TEA has also provided the attached flyer with instructions to access results (in English and Spanish).  More information is available here.

Paper copies of the results are available on request from the campus.

Please contact the campus where your child tested with any questions regarding state assessment results.

    State Accountability

Details regarding PfISD's performance is available on our State Accountability page.

Out of School & Out of District Registration for STAAR

Out of school (OOS) and out of district (OOD) students may pre-register for STAAR administrations in PISD by contacting the state's testing contractor.  OOS & OOD students could be home schooled students, students temporarily residing in PISD, students who did not receive a diploma because they have not passed all required tests, and students in other similar situations.  Pre-registering with the state's testing contractor ensures that test materials will be available.
Registration usually closes 3-4 weeks prior to each scheduled test administration.  If not pre-registered, please report to the PISD campus where you wish to test and you will be allowed to register on site the day of the test if space and materials are available.  You can also call the campus and ask to speak to the Campus Testing Coordinator for further information or consult the contractor's FAQ document.
Upon arrival at the campus on the morning of your test, you will be required to present a photo ID or some other form of identification that can be verified.  Cell phones and all other electronic devices are not allowed in test sites and should not be in your possession while you are testing on a PISD campus.

Out of School Registration for TAKS
Students who did not receive a diploma because they have not passed all required tests should contact the Campus Testing Coordinator of the last high school attended.  Further information is available from TEA at this link.

    PSAT Testing

The PSAT will be given in mid October of every school year.

The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) provides first hand practice in critical reasoning, math problem-solving and writing skills which are found on the SAT reasoning test. The PSAT also serves as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT) which qualifies students for an array of scholarship programs.

Any home-schooled student who resides in the Pflugerville Independent School District may participate in the PSAT/NMSQT and/or any college advanced placement test offered by the District. For more information, please contact the high school transition counselor in the home-schooled student's attendance area. Home-schooled student registration must be done prior to the College Board deadline for U.S. schools to increase PSAT/NMSQT test book orders. More information can be found on the College Board website.

Deadline for PSAT Registration Deadline for Home School and Private School Students is early September prior to the October administration.

PfISD's College & Career Department may be of assistance.   Contact your high school campus for further information.
