We will continue to monitor the variants of COVID-19 and encourage a multi-layered approach to minimize spread. We will continue to follow the guidelines of Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), and Austin Public Health (APH).
To help minimize the spread of COVID-19 and to keep our students, teachers, staff, and families safe, we encourage:
- getting vaccinations and boosters for anyone who qualifies (free vaccination clinics for Travis County and Williamson County);
- staying home if you are feeling sick or symptomatic;
- testing if you feel sick and following isolation guidelines if you are COVID-19 positive; and
- maintaining hygiene protocols like washing your hands, using sanitizer, and avoiding touching your face.
Our district has invested in Bipolar Ionization units in all of our campuses to combat the COVID-19 virus and improve indoor air quality throughout our campuses.
