Due to the difference in Spring Break dates between Austin Community College and the University of Texas (UT), the Pflugerville ISD Board of Trustees has approved a new calendar for the 2023-2024 school year.

At the time of the initial calendar adoption in January, PfISD approved a calendar aligned with UT, as PfISD and surrounding districts have historically done. However, ACC’s designated Spring Break does not align with UT, and all area school districts have chosen to align with ACC.

As we have a significant number of students who take Dual Credit courses through ACC and many staff members who have children in neighboring districts, the District Academic Advisory Committee voted to adjust the PfISD calendar to have its Spring Break in alignment with ACC and neighboring school districts. We sincerely apologize for the change in plans.
