Wednesday, December 9, 2020 is the deadline for parents to update the selection between online and in-person learning for the next 9-weeks grading period which begins January 6, 2021. Contact your child's campus registrar to make the change by the posted deadline.
Monday, Sept. 14 will be our first day with in-person instruction with up to 25% student capacity on our campuses. If more than 25% of students for a campus have chosen the on-campus option, priority has been given to students without internet access at home and students of District staff members with on-site jobs.
We have implemented a criteria points system to determine which students will be part of the on-campus learning group. Unfortunately, some campuses had more than 25% of their students select the on-campus learning option and we will not be able to accommodate all of them at this time. That is why we have the criteria points system (linked above). We will reassess conditions and determine if we will either maintain, increase or decrease capacity after the first two weeks of in-person learning.
Even with in-person instruction, parents always have the option for their student to remain in virtual learning. Parents may update their selection between online and in-person at the end of the first 9-weeks grading period.
