Connally High School to Host Meet & Greet for New Principal Dr. Lacey Ajibola

Connally High School will host a Meet & Greet to welcome its new principal, Dr. Lacey Ajibola, on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the campus.

The event offers members of the school community an opportunity to meet Dr. Ajibola, connect with one another, and mark the beginning of her leadership at Connally.

Dr. Ajibola brings more than 20 years of experience in education, with a focus on transforming schools and expanding opportunities for students. Connally High School is a familiar place for her—she began her career there, teaching from 2005 to 2014. Most recently, she served as principal of Dessau Middle School for six years before returning to Connally in her new role.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University, a Master’s degree in Educational Human Resources Development, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Abilene Christian University, where her studies emphasized learning with emerging technologies.

Dr. Ajibola’s leadership approach centers on fostering collaboration, trust, and shared purpose while supporting both students and staff. School officials say they look forward to introducing her to the community at the upcoming event.
