PfISD 2026-27 New Student Enrollment and Transfer Windows Announced

Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year is approaching, and we are ready to support families as they plan for another exciting year.

At Pflugerville ISD, we prepare students for Enrollment, Employment, or Enlistment, and every student’s journey begins with a strong start.

New Student Enrollment Opens March 2, 2026

Beginning March 2, families may complete:

• General K–12 new student enrollment
• Pre-K screener (Texas law does not allow us to process Pre-K applications until April 1, however, interested families can complete the screening process on March 2).

Important for Current Families

Current students do not need to enroll. All families will complete the required Annual Forms over the summer.

2026-2027 Transfer Window Dates

Whether transferring within PfISD or joining us from another district, we’re here to make the process clear and straightforward.

• Intra-District Transfers Open: February 23, 2026
• Out-of-District Transfers Open: March 2, 2026
• Application Window Closes: March 30, 2026
• Parent/Guardian Notification Date: April 17, 2026

New This Year: Transfer Renewals & Transition Years

• In-District Transfers:
  Transfers will automatically continue each year as long as the student stays at the same campus and is in good standing.
• Out-of-District Transfers:
  All out-of-district transfers will be reviewed annually. Families will receive a renewal notice if approved or a revocation notice if eligibility requirements are not met.
• Students Entering Transition Years:
  Any student entering a transition year (Pre-K to Kindergarten, 5th to 6th, or 8th to 9th) must submit a new transfer request for the next campus.

Pre-K & Kindergarten Registration Help Days

We’re excited to welcome our newest learners! Campuses will host in-person registration assistance to help families every step of the way:

• April 6 | 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Pre-K only)
• April 7 | 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Kindergarten only)
• April 8 | 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Pre-K & Kindergarten)

Our staff will be available to answer questions and help you complete the registration process.
