PfISD Celebrates October Employees of the Month

Outstanding PfISD employees and substitutes are recognized each month as a way to celebrate exceptional performance and highlight individuals who model excellence for others. Each month, the District names a Professional, Support, and Guest Educator Employee of the Month based on nominations from fellow staff members. Honorees are recognized by the PfISD Board of Trustees and featured on the District website.

Guest Educator of the Month – Manuel Villegas, Provan Opportunity Center

Manuel Villegas has earned high praise for his teamwork, reliability, and compassion. A dedicated and dependable substitute, he steps in on short notice and provides essential continuity for both students and staff. Known for his positive attitude and genuine care, he builds meaningful connections with students that foster a supportive and welcoming campus culture. His empathy and patience reflect a deep belief in every student’s potential, making him an invaluable member of the Provan Opportunity Center team.

Professional Employee of the Month – Malcolm Hill, Weiss High School

Head Football Coach and Athletic Coordinator Malcolm Hill has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment during the start of the school year. Constantly present in hallways and classrooms, he supports students and teachers alike with positivity and encouragement. Beyond his coaching duties, he attends campus events, arrives early, stays late, and models a solution-oriented approach for his team and colleagues. Pflugerville ISD is grateful for Coach Hill’s unwavering dedication to the Weiss community and the district as a whole.

Support Employee of the Month – Mike Morgan, Wieland Elementary School

New to Wieland Elementary this year, Mike Morgan has quickly become a vital part of the school community. Always ready to lend a hand, he supports teachers, assists students during lunch, and ensures the campus remains safe and clean. His friendly demeanor and genuine care for others brighten every day, as he takes time to connect with students and staff alike. Whether helping with Pre-K lunches or staying late to assist after hours, Mike exemplifies kindness and commitment. PfISD is proud to recognize his outstanding service and dedication.
