Pflugerville Independent School District is proud to announce the appointment of two experienced and visionary educators as principals for the 2025–2026 school year. Amanda MacAllister will lead Jessica Carpenter Elementary School, and Tiffany Greene will assume leadership at Spring Hill Elementary School.

“Both Amanda and Tiffany bring a depth of experience and passion for collaboration and student success,” Superintendent Dr. Quintin Shepherd said. “Their leadership will elevate the strong foundations already in place at Carpenter and Spring Hill. I am confident they will build upon the amazing work happening on each campus and help lead these schools into their next great chapter.”

Amanda MacAllister comes to Jessica Carpenter Elementary with over 18 years in education, most recently serving as Assistant Principal at Deep Wood Elementary in Round Rock ISD since 2014. During her tenure, she led the campus Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS) team, oversaw Response to Intervention (RTI) systems, and facilitated campus-wide professional learning communities that resulted in increased student achievement and a positive campus climate.

MacAllister holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University. She is a certified T-TESS appraiser and has served on multiple district committees. A former Teacher of the Year, MacAllister is known for building strong relationships and fostering inclusive school cultures.

Tiffany Greene, the new principal of Spring Hill Elementary, has served as Assistant Principal at Windermere Elementary in Pflugerville ISD since 2021. She previously taught at Jollyville Elementary in Round Rock ISD. Greene brings a focus on instructional excellence and has led campus efforts in PBIS, restorative practices, and teacher coaching. Her leadership has contributed to measurable gains in STAAR and TELPAS performance and improved staff retention.

Greene earned her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy and is currently pursuing her doctorate at The University of Texas at Austin, where her research focuses on female leadership in the principalship. With a strong background in data analysis, culturally responsive practices, and systems improvement, Greene is committed to fostering high-performing school environments.

Pflugerville ISD looks forward to the continued success of both campuses under their new leadership and welcomes Amanda MacAllister and Tiffany Greene into their new roles.
