Pflugerville ISD continues to put the 2022 Bond Program into action with exciting improvements across our district. From fresh playground surfaces to cutting-edge technology installations, we're making strategic investments that directly enhance our schools for students, staff, and families.

This spring marked a major milestone as we completed all playground surface replacements funded by Proposition C of the 2022 Bond. These new surfaces provide safer, more enjoyable play areas for students at 20 elementary schools: Barron ES, Brookhollow ES, Caldwell ES, Copperfield ES, Dearing ES, Delco ES, Dessau ES, Highland Park ES, Mott ES, Murchison ES, Northwest ES, Parmer Lane ES, Pflugerville ES, Riojas ES, River Oaks ES, Rowe Lane ES, Spring Hill ES, Timmerman ES, Wieland ES, Windermere ES. Thank you for your support—this is Your Bond Dollars at Work!

Summer 2025 is packed with bond-funded renovations and upgrades across the district.

Campus Renovations

  • Restroom upgrades: Highland Park ES and Park Crest MS
  • Classroom and flooring updates: Dessau MS, Mott ES, Rowe Lane ES
  • Parking and exterior improvements: Pflugerville MS front lot resurfacing
  • Athletic facility enhancements: New paint and flooring in Pflugerville HS Tennis and Softball facilities
  • Connally HS: Beginning Phase 1 of its modernization, starting with two updated restrooms near the competition gym

HVAC and Control System Upgrades

Projects are underway at multiple campuses including Wieland ES, Windermere ES, and Kelly Lane MS, ensuring more efficient climate control for student comfort and energy savings.

Security Enhancements

Safety is a top priority. Security updates are being implemented at campuses like Bohls MS, Hidden Lake ES, Mott ES, and Weiss HS, with more schools on the list.

Performing Arts and Athletics

Audio and video systems are being upgraded at Connally, Hendrickson, and Pflugerville High School Performing Arts Centers. Turf replacement is also coming to the football fields at Connally and Pflugerville HS.

Technology Investments

Interactive projectors have been installed in all elementary schools and Weiss HS, continuing our efforts to integrate modern technology into everyday learning. This summer also marks the launch of new eSports labs—computers are being installed at four high schools, and we’re working with architects to design state-of-the-art competition rooms for the 2025–2026 school year.
