I’ve always believed great communities make great schools. Growing up here, it’s come full circle—I’m now shaping the future for the next generation, just as those before me did. I’m proud to give back to the district that shaped me. Go Broncos!

My daughters are students at Dessau MS. We were very happy with the staff and community that we have watched grown over the years. My oldest daughter is now going into freshman year. She will miss all the wonderful teachers she has had including the amazing band staff! They really made her feel special! My younger daughter will continue at Dessau MS 7th grade. She has been loving the moments she has had over the year. I also Substitute at the school and have met many amazing people along the way. The principal Mrs. Ajibola is a very kind hearted person. She cares so much for this school, students and staff. Every time I have a chance to speak with her I feel a since of family love.

We have been at Caldwell Elementary for the last 5 years with 3 of our kids there. We started during 2020, when life was anything but normal, and we saw the school through a virtual lens. Now our oldest is starting 5th grade and have found a community and school home at Caldwell. The teachers and staff have been amazing, and we are excited for our youngest child to join the white tiger family soon!

Brookhollow is a school for all students. The teachers don’t just provide the basic requirement ,they provide opportunities for all skill levels. Brookhollow provides the support needed for students that need extra help in learning. But they also provide enhanced opportunities for students that are ready for more challenges. There are math clubs and girls clubs, and science challenges, and Destination Imagination and the garden and many other places for students to become involved.

My family feels very fortunate to be able to attend Brookhollow Elementary.

1. The most important reason is the people! At Timmerman the SPED staff are like family! They connected with Thomas and worked with him to make him feel special and loved. He has a school "mom" and we are so thankful.

2. They challenge my son to excel at what he loves, yet work with him to perform the tasks he struggles with.

3. The staff are welcoming and made me feel like we were a team even through the challenges. I never felt shamed or as if I was the problem.

4. I can't say enough about the school SPED bus drivers. They are beyond amazing and always greeted me and Thomas with a smile!!!! Keep in mind he gets on at 5:50AM!

5. Timmerman is the first school whereby my son is actually sad to not go and this is priceless for a mom!!!

 

I can go on and off...not only academically but also socially Timmerman has been a great fit for our family and we absolutely love everyone there. They always have the needs of your child first and foremost!
