CAREER ACADEMIES

Career Academies are CTE programs through which students can earn up to a Level 1 or 2 Certificate with the college partner, at little to no cost. Students complete articulated and dual credit courses in the program area, and may take classes at the high school and/or college campus. Students can use these certificates to stack credit toward an Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s of Applied Science (where available). Students also participate in work-based learning which may include paid internship in the field with employer partners. Completion of a Career Academy satisfies graduation endorsement requirements, and meets CCMR standards.
