Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) 24/7 Crisis Hotline centralized telephone intake for the Austin Travis County MHMR center. Specialists provide the initial phone contact with consumers by conducting a brief screening with callers to determine if s/he might be eligible for ATCMHMR services. Other services include suicide prevention, 24 hour confidential crisis counseling, linkage to emergency mental health services, teletype crisis intervention service for the hearing impaired, and community education presentations on suicide prevention. | (512) 454-3521 |
Mobil Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) Available to provide assistance between 10 am & 8 pm seven days a week. Consists licensed clinicians and psychiatric RN who provide crisis intervention for anyone in Travis County experiencing: Suicidal or homicidal thoughts; Signs of behavior health emergency, such as: extreme withdrawal and isolation, dramatic personality or behavior changes abrupt deterioration in hygiene and appearance. | (512) 454-3521 |
