Visual Arts

PfISD is dedicated to ensuring every student graduates with one of the 3 Es - Employment, Enrollment, or Enlistment.
How does Visual Arts support this goal?

All students must complete at least one fine arts class in high school, and HS Art I or AP Art History can satisfy that requirement. Upper level classes for 10th-12th grades specialize in drawing, painting, ceramics, or sculpture. Four credits in visual arts courses qualifies a student for the Arts & Humanities endorsement. Advanced Placement courses can earn college credit. The skills refined in visual arts classes transfer directly into college readiness, employability, or military service.
