USDA Policy states: School Program regulations at 7 CFR 210.14(e) require school food authorities (SFAs) participating in the National School Lunch Program to ensure sufficient funds are provided to the nonprofit school food service account for meals served to students not eligible for free or reduced-price meals. There are two ways to meet this requirement: either through the prices charged for “paid” meals or through other non-Federal sources provided to the nonprofit school food service account.
*NOTE: Breakfast meals in PfISD are free, regardless of campus or student status (free/reduced/paid), to PfISD enrolled students. This does not include a la carte, extra, or second items.
The following campuses participate in the USDA's Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), where students at these campuses receive free breakfast and lunch meals, regardless of socio-economic status (Westview Middle School, Dessau Middle School, Delco Elementary School, Dessau Elementary School, Northwest Elementary School, River Oaks Elementary School, Ruth Barron Elementary School, Connally High School, Weiland Elementary School, Copperfield Elementary School, Timmerman Elementary School, and Spring Hill Elementary School)
Account Refunds or Account Transitions
If you would like to have the balance of your student's meal account refunded or transitioned to another student, please contact Irma Ramirez at Irma.Ramirez@pfisd.net. In your request, please include the student name(s), campus, and student ID (if known). Refunds may take up to a month to process through district accounts payable.

Need Assistance? Pfood Pfairness helps students with lunch debt
Pfood Pfairness is a student-founded, student-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting Pflugerville ISD students. Every dollar raised by Pfood Pfairness goes directly toward funding the lunch accounts of students who need financial assistance.
Parents and students who need support can reach out to Pfood Pfairness through the Request for Assistance forms available on the Pfood Pfairness website. Once a request is received, Pfood Pfairness helps pay down existing lunch debt in student accounts and provides funds to prevent future debt from accruing.
By helping students cover their lunch debt, Pfood Pfairness also helps the district as a whole. Unpaid lunch debt is ultimately a financial burden that PfISD would need to absorb. When we work together to address this need, we strengthen our community and ensure that all students can focus on learning without worrying about meals.

Payments For Accounts
MySchoolBucks on-line prepayment method (there is a fee per transaction); cash and checks (via your campus cafeteria, no fee), are all accepted methods of payment on your/ your child's meal account. Additional information is located on this department's tabs (left). Checks can be made payable to Pflugerville ISD.
PfISD CHARGE POLICY
Pflugerville ISD allows charging of reimbursable meals for negative account balances (-$7) with replacement of entrée meal items for lunch. There will be a charge of two dollars ($2) for lunches for paid socio-economic accounts with negative balances. Students with negative account balances will not be allowed to charge ala carte. Efforts to collect negative account balances will continue.
Please ensure your student has sufficient funds in their account or are approved for the USDA National School Lunch (and breakfast) program.
