Starting August 1, 2025, MySchoolBucks is increasing their transaction service charges to $3.50 per transaction. Service Fee for e-checks will remain at $2.75 per transaction. There are no fees for cash or checks. New MySchoolBucks ONE PAY: $12.95 per student or $26.95 per family annually (echeck only).
The PfISD Food & Child Nutrition Department has implemented increased safety measures to keep Child Nutrition staff and students safe while dining in our schools. While cash and check will be acceptable methods of payment (via your campus cafeteria), we encourage parents to take advantage of our cashless transition system via MySchoolBucks (No service fee if paid by cash or check, $3.50 convenience fee charged by MySchoolBucks provider per transaction for credit or debit cards, $2.75 convenience fee charged by MySchoolBucks provider per transaction for electronic checks). This online payment service provides a quick and easy way to add money to your student’s meal account using a credit/debit card or electronic check. You can also check balances, and set-up low balance alerts (including auto-draft) for FREE!
Households and students can check their current meal balance by creating a MySchoolBucks account at no charge.

Enrollment is easy!
OnePay allows parents to pay a one-time fee upfront and then make unlimited payments from their checking account over the course of the year. There are no spending limits and no additional processing fees at checkout. The yearly OnePay fee is $12.95/student or $26.95/family.
To update your membership to OnePay, you can:
1. Log in to myschoolbucks.com
2. Click your name and select My User Profile
3. Click Update Membership in the My Memberships box
4. Choose a Membership Plan
5. Enter your Checking Account information

Accounts through MySchoolBucks are free. There is only a fee to perform an online money transaction. Transactions made through the school cafeteria are free of charge and can be managed at no cost through MySchoolBucks. Other features such as low balance notifications, access to your student’s cafeteria meal history, and managing accounts for multiple students are free.

Payments can be made online via credit/debit card (there is a $3.50 charge per transaction to the provider) or eCheck. For eCheck, provide your check information during the checkout process and we'll deduct the processing payment amount of $2.75 directly from your bank account. Cash and check payments may be made at your school cafeteria. Households can place up to $200 per child per transaction. Convenience fees are charged by MySchoolBucks/Heartland for the service. New MySchoolBucks annual ONE PAY: $12.95 per student or $26.95 per family annually (echeck only).
Additional Items Available for Purchase
Your student’s cafeteria makes available for purchase a variety of side, snack, and beverage items to supplement your child’s meal that are not included with the reimbursable tray meal. These items are all USDA approved for school programs based on nutritional requirements. If you do not wish for your child to purchase these items with their meal account, please notify us by completing this form and submitting it to our Food Service Office via email denise.meserole@pfisd.net or your campus cafeteria manager so that we may note on your child’s account.
Account Refunds or Account Transitions
If you would like to have the balance of your student's meal account refunded or transitioned to another student, please contact Irma Ramirez at Irma.Ramirez@pfisd.net. In your request, please include the student name(s), campus, and student ID (if known). Refunds may take up to a month to process through district accounts payable.

PfISD CHARGE POLICY
Pflugerville ISD allows charging of reimbursable meals for negative account balances (-$7) with replacement of entrée meal items for lunch. There will be a charge of two dollars ($2) for lunches for paid socio-economic accounts with negative balances. Students with negative account balances will not be allowed to charge ala carte. Efforts to collect negative account balances will continue.
Please ensure your student has sufficient funds in their account or are approved for the USDA National School Lunch (and breakfast) program.
