Mission:

School Social Workers are licensed mental health professionals who support students' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic success. They serve as a vital link between home, school, and community resources, helping to remove barriers that may impact a student's ability to learn and thrive. Through advocacy, collaboration, and support, School Social Workers help ensure that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Services provided:

  • Provides short-term individual and support group counseling services
  • Provides prevention and crisis intervention services
  • Encourages supportive peer relationships 
  • Provides guidance to students to make healthy choices
  • Provides advocacy services for students and families
  • Coordinate students and families to appropriate community agencies
  • Encourages Parental Involvement
  • Collaborates with campus-based and district support service professionals
  • Provides prevention education, training, and consultation services to students and staff
