Ms. Cindy Gee ~ TrusteeCindy Gee was elected to the Pflugerville Board of Trustees in 2020.Gee and her husband moved to PfISD in 1986 where they were both involved in youth sports and civic activities. Their sons attended PfISD schools. Gee is a past President of Pflugerville Circle of Friends/Circle of Giving, the Little League Board, and on the Relay for Life Leadership Team. She is an active member of St. Elizabeth’s Church, having served in several ministries.
Gee has dedicated four decades to education. She has experience in public rural, suburban, and urban schools as well as private schools. Gee has held various leadership roles, including campus leadership and executive leadership. The last position she held while employed by Pflugerville ISD was Assistant Superintended of the Pflugerville Learning community. In this role, she had direct oversight of Pflugerville High School, all its feeder schools, and Provan Alternative School. Gee retired from Pflugerville after serving 30+ years in public education.
After retirement, Gee worked as an educational consultant (TTESS and TPESS trainer), principal mentor (Cognitive Coaching, UT Principal Prep.), and in school improvement with Region 13 as a PSP and a MAPPS (Mapping a Pathway to Student Success) Team Leader. Gee currently heads an award-winning Private School. Gee is experienced with budgeting, including optimizing resources, rezoning, curriculum and instruction, bilingual/ESL, and special education, standards-based education, human resources, and long-range planning, marketing, and community relations
Cindy’s adult life has been dedicated to serving the community in which she lives and the children who are its most valuable resource. She is a proven leader who deeply respects teachers' work in the classroom, recognizes the challenges they face, and works diligently to support them. She is a student-advocate who will put the needs of children at the center of every decision.
