As the dedicated educators and staff members of Pflugerville Independent School District (PfISD) gathered to usher in a new school year, the spirit of welcome and unity was palpable, thanks to the steadfast support of A+ Federal Credit Union. 

A+ Credit Union, a longtime partner of the district, played a pivotal role by generously underwriting themed welcome packets brimming with PfISD goodies to all 3,500 employees in attendance.

PfISD annually selects a theme that serves as a source of inspiration and a means to foster connections among its staff and teachers. For the 2023-2024 academic year, the chosen theme was "May the Pforce be with You," a clever wordplay that pays homage to the unique identity of Pflugerville, where "Pf" is a ubiquitous prefix. 

This Star Wars-inspired theme not only injected a touch of pop culture into the event but also served as a poignant reminder of the district's core principles. Staff and teachers were treated to a captivating convocation video demonstrating the essence of the Pforce: a thirst for knowledge, a passion for innovation, and a steadfast commitment to diversity—qualities driving PfISD's mission.
