The Pflugerville High School HOSA Biomedical Debate team made their mark at the HOSA International Leadership Conference, held from June 22-25 in Nashville. The team, consisting of seniors Clarke Simmons and Kenneth Kalu and 2022 PHS graduate Elise Talamor, earned third-place in the competition.

The team presented a well-researched argument on the topic of whether the COVID-19 vaccine should be required to attend school, highlighting the pros and cons of the issue. Their impressive performance showcased their command of the topic and ability to communicate their viewpoints effectively.
