Happy National Rescue Dog Day - Friday, May 20

Posted by Heike Cook on 5/20/2022

Greetings Panthers,

Happy Friday! We are about to embark on our FINAL WEEK OF SCHOOL. Thus, this week’s blog is simply a bunch of reminders of the important information and events between now and our summer break.

Let’s finish strong and study and perform on those final exams. Each exam counts towards students' final grades so it is critically important that students take each one seriously.

Exams have started for seniors and start next week for all other students. The calendar below will show when you will have exams and when you will have class. Please note, seniors have a slightly different exam schedule than other the other grade levels to allow days for graduation practice.

Students who are exempt from their exams MUST come to class and will remain in class. They may work on alternate assignments from the teacher. Failure to report for an exam, exempt or not, will result in a 1 on the exam.

On May 25th and 26th seniors report to graduation practice at the times listed below. Seniors will not report to classes on those two days. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask us.

From our English Department

Hello Panthers!

The summer reading lists for Advanced/AP English can be found here: https://tinyurl.com/pfsummerreading. Students will choose ONE book off of their grade-level list to read. AP students (11th/12th grade) will be expected to complete the accompanying assignment. The lists are created to encourage students to find the book best suited for their interests and reading preferences. Parents/guardians should approve their student’s choices before the student commits to reading the book. If you have any questions, please reach out to your student’s current English teacher.

Good luck to all of our students on their final exams, and congratulations to our seniors! We wish you the best!
