Pflugerville MS Reminders

Hello Panthers!

We hope all is well with your family and that everybody is keeping safe.

Our teachers are very busy this morning, participating in Staff Development.

I just wanted to send out a few reminders.

  1. Remember that there is no school on Monday for the national holiday.
  2. The 1st 9 Weeks ended yesterday and report cards will be available next week.
  3. With PfISD going to Phase 2 of Return to Learn, there will be more students learning In-Person beginning Tuesday.  We will be able to continue to be COVID-Safe as we will only have about 30% of our students learning In-Person.  Classes can hold up to 17 while maintaining our distancing and we cap our classes at 15 students In-Person.  We never put more than 17 kids in a regular sized classroom.
To assist with this safety, we emphasize:
    1. Frequent hand-washing
    2. Maintain our Social Distancing
    3. Cover our noses and mouths
    4. Contact Tracing
So far, we have been very successful!

  1. Students will not have school on Friday, October 23rd so that teachers can participate in further Staff Development.  Much of our training is related to “…how to be a more effective teacher with some students In-Person and many more learning Virtually…”.

We’ve included a link to a video clip that will provide tips to parents on accessing student grades in a virtual environment.

We hope your family enjoys a pleasant, relaxing weekend.
Stay Safe!
Go Panthers!
