From our head band director Mrs. Robison:

Thursday, April 28th all band students participated in Solo and Ensemble Contest at Pflugerville Middle School.  Students prepared solos and worked in small groups for this event and performed for an official evaluator who rated students based on their performance.  Our band students have been working hard preparing for this event and I am pleased to announce that we have 85 first division ratings that were awarded to our band students. The directors are very proud of the hard work they have done and the courage they displayed during their performances.  We also have 9 "Outstanding" awards that were given special recognition for going above and beyond in their level of performance.  If you see students with medals on blue lanyards these are first division medals.  Gold and blue lanyards are the outstanding medals.  Please congratulate these deserving students for their outstanding achievement!
