This past weekend we had 4 students compete in the Jr. VASE (Visual Art Scholastic Event) competition.

Not only does this event showcase their artistic skill, but also their ability to communicate their work through a digital interview process. Each student is given a rank from 1-4  (1=lowest, 4=highest), based on their interview skills and artwork.

These students have worked tirelessly for the last couple of months to finish their artwork and submit essay questions. All four competitors have received a top ranking of a 4! Even though this event was virtual for the second year in a row, these students stepped up to compete against 1000 other middle school students in the region. I am so very proud of each of them and want to share their outstanding achievement with you all.
