Greetings Cougar Families,

The summer is coming to an end, and I hope you have found some time to enjoy a bit of fun.

School starts on Thursday!  Thursday and Friday will be important days for our students.  To help all students become successful, we will go over important high school procedures and concepts so all students are prepared for in-person learning again.  Our goal is to continue to build a culture of responsibility and belonging where all students feel welcome and can learn in a caring and safe environment.

Our motto for the 2021-2022 school year is: Dare to Conquer   ~ We thank all of the students and Leaders who helped create our Motto!

Chromebook - password change ~ Students should be able to change their password and log into their school accounts now.  Please refer to the PFISD website if you need instructions.

Absent on the FIRST DAY . . .

Any student who is absent on the first day will be withdrawn. Our system automatically withdraws those students. Parents will need to re-enroll the student if they return after the first day.  We are sorry for any inconvenience, but this is a process we must follow.

Parent Support Group –

Connally High School will offer a Parent Support Group this year.  Please see the attached flyer: CHS PARENT SUPPORT GROUP POSTER.pdf

School supplies

Due to the variety of electives and other courses offered at the high school level, teachers will inform students of any specific needs for their course work on the first day of class. Students are expected to have their Chromebook, a notebook or paper and writing utensils.  Please bring Chromebooks every day!

Safety

Masks are highly encouraged, but are optional. The campus is equipped with sanitization materials and we will be cleaning and sanitizing throughout the day in all classrooms and the building. Students will be encouraged to use sanitizer, wash hands, and wipe down areas that they use during the day. Please have students bring their own water bottle to refill during the day at our filling stations.  Thank you for encouraging safe behaviors as we try to keep everyone safe and well.

We look forward to a great start to this year.
