Cougar Update: March 7
Posted by Marcial Guajardo on 3/7/2022 7:00:00 AM
Greetings Cougar Families,
Starting tomorrow, CHS students will be required to obtain a tardy pass if they do not make it to class on time. Students will be admitted quickly to class by their teacher when they show the tardy pass. The tardy policy will give us documentation that will help us better communicate to parents and guardians.
Please encourage your student to get to class on time - they cannot learn when they are not in class.
One of our biggest challenges is student truancy. We want to build a culture of pride and learning and in the past couple of months, it has been a huge challenge to motivate students to get to classes.
Thanks so much for your support. Have a great week!
