Greetings Cougars,

After a long week of EOC STAAR Testing and AP Testing, we are now preparing for final exams.  It certainly has been a whirlwind of a year.

Attendance continues to be most important -- even though we are getting to the end.  Grades are so important also!  Students must earn a 70 or above to get credit in their classes.  Please check your student's grades.  We encourage all students to make an effort to finish strong!

STAAR EOC Scores

Beginning May 18-May 25, students and families will be informed of EOC results that result in “Did Not Meet Standard.” Students that do not meet standard on an STAAR EOC assessment will be provided the opportunity to attend the CHS High School End-of-Course (EOC) Preparation Program.

On June 16, online access of parents/guardians and student to view results with supporting information will be available.Parents will log into Skyward’s Family Access and select “Texas Assessment.”.  If a student is testing for the first time in PfISD, this access through Skyward will not be immediately available.  Please allow several days before this is set up.  All results are also accessible at https://www.texasassessment.gov/families.html

Parents may request a printed copy of the .pdf STAAR Report Card from the campus where the student tested. The formmust be delivered to the front office of CHS; copies of the form will be available after June 16 at CHS.
