Teacher Incentive Allotment Program
Teacher Incentive Allotment

Pflugerville ISD is known for being innovative in our approach to teaching and learning, and we are excited to build upon our success as we participate in the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program. As the first district in the Central Texas metroplex to earn full approval, TIA provides a pathway for PfISD to substantially benefit and reward our highest performing teachers with salary incentives, enabling recruitment and retention of highly-effective teachers in our schools.
68% of all PfISD teachers are eligible for TIA as of the 2024-2025 school year!
As of July 2025, 493 designated teachers will serve in our classrooms for the 2025-2026 school year. Of all PfISD teachers, 27% are designated. With a 94% retention rate of designated teachers, PfISD meets the primary TIA goal of retaining highly-effective teachers in the classroom.
Within three years of employment in PfISD, eligible teachers can earn an additional TRS-eligible salary incentive of up to $18,372. National Board Certified Teachers are eligible for an incentive within their second year of employment in PfISD.
To learn more about the PfISD designation system and how you could be eligible to benefit as a current or future PfISD teacher, see the PfISD TIA Overview and explore the highlights under each icon below.
