Student Transfer Process
-
To begin the transfer process, parents or guardians must:
- Complete a transfer application.
To apply for a transfer, please access the application via the Google Chrome browser using either a desktop or laptop PC. You may encounter a submission error if an alternate browser is used or if you access the application via a phone, tablet, or other handheld device. - Once the application is submitted, it will be reviewed to determine eligibility.
The district will consider several factors when reviewing a transfer request, such as the student's academic performance, behavior, and attendance records. The availability of space in the requested school and program will also be considered. The district will make every effort to accommodate transfer requests but cannot guarantee placement in the requested school or program.
It's important to note that transportation is the responsibility of the parent or guardian when a student transfers to a school outside their designated attendance zone. However, Pflugerville ISD does provide transportation to specific specialized programs.
Please contact the district's Student Affairs department at 512-594-0046 or via email at student.affairs@pfisd.net for more information.
